KTM 250 Duke Design And Style
The KTM 250 Duke is a naked motorcycle in the 250cc segment. The overall design of the motorcycle is similar to its elder sibling, the 390 Duke. The front profile features a sleek headlamp design with boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights. The fuel tank is muscular with sporty extensions. The new graphics render the 250 Duke an aggressive look.
The exposed trellis frame gives the KTM 250 Duke a raw appeal The tail section also features a bolted frame finished in orange which looks stunning. The side-mounted exhaust can add to the looks of the motorcycle. The tail section is sleek with the new LED tail light, split grab rails and tail-tidy design. The black alloy wheels with orange stickers blend well with the overall design.
KTM 250 Duke Engine And Performance
The KTM 250 Duke is powered by a 248.76cc liquid-cooled, fuel injected, single-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 29.6bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque output of 24Nm at 7,500rpm. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
The 250cc engine packs a punch, the moment you twist the throttle there is a sudden burst of power which is the prominent highlight of KTM engines. The throttle response is crisp, thanks to the fuel injection system. The trellis frame aids in superior handling and riding the 250 Duke in city conditions will not be an issue.
KTM 250 Duke Important Features
The KTM 250 Duke is equipped with a host of premium features. The motorcycle gets stylish LED DRLs, digital instrument cluster with loads of information including gear position indicator, engine temperature, overall fuel efficiency and much more. The tank extensions are designed to divert hot air generated from engine away from the rider.
The step up tail design with split seats are wide and comfortable for both the rider and pillion. The new side-mounted exhaust cannister delivers a throaty exhaust note.
The 250 Duke is equipped with upside down WP forks up front and WP monoshock suspension at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 300mm disc with a four-piston radially fixed calliper at the front and 230mm disc at the rear. The motorcycle gets a 13.5-litre metal fuel tank and the kerb weight stands at 161kg.

The KTM 250 Duke is one of the best motorcycles in the 250cc segment. With its brute performance and killer looks it is a popular motorcycle among young buyers. The downside of the 250 Duke is the lack of ABS and the new TFT display seen on the 390 Duke. Apart from that, the KTM 250 Duke is a good package with all the premium cycle parts and the KTM build quality is top-notch.
